Every organization we encountered had the same story: carefully constructed strategy plans, board-approved OKR frameworks, and months of planning time invested. And then — nothing. Between the planning room and the front line, accountability evaporated. By the time the quarterly business review surfaced the execution gap, two months of runway had already burned. The strategy wasn't the problem. The translation layer was.
Rod Nunes founded DoJob AI in Lisbon in 2022, after nearly a decade working inside operations and strategy consulting roles at mid-size companies across Southern Europe. The observation was consistent: the gap between strategic intent and execution reality was not a people problem or a culture problem. It was an infrastructure problem. There was no system that owned the translation from OKR to workstream, assigned accountability at the initiative level, and monitored execution in real time. That system needed to exist.
In 2025, backed by Olisipo Way, we brought the first version of the platform to a small group of early customers — COOs and VPs of Strategy at mid-market companies who were willing to test the premise. The results confirmed what the problem diagnosis predicted: when leadership teams can see their execution tree live, course-correction happens weeks earlier, accountability cultures strengthen, and quarterly reviews become data confirmation rather than discovery sessions.
